“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News.” 2 Corinthians 4:4 —– “For God who said, ‘ Let there be light in the darkness’, has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6 —– ” Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16.

Satan, the god of this world, targets those who are struggling. When you hear a lie repeatedly, it can start to feel like the truth in your heart and mind. He preys on those with doubts about the amazing truths and rewards Jesus offers. He keeps lying, and if you only hear those lies, you might end up believing them. But don’t worry—God has an answer! For those who know Jesus, a bright light shines in our lives. We should let that light shine so everyone can see it and hear God’s message. We may not always reach everyone’s heart when we share God’s Word, but it’s our job as His children to spread His message and the grace He offers to anyone willing to accept it. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

Becoming a new person in Christ is quite the journey, and let’s be real, it can be tough! Since day one, we’ve been figuring out how to make it in this world, picking up habits to protect ourselves and look out for number one. When we connect with Jesus and decide to follow his lead, it’s time to ditch those old habits that aren’t helping us anymore and try out some fresh, life-changing ways. This change isn’t just about what we see; it’s all about having faith in things we can’t see yet, which is super important in our spiritual journey. We’re called to genuinely love our neighbors and show kindness, instead of just worrying about our own stuff. Getting into the Bible helps us understand Jesus’ teachings and what really matters in life. And let’s not forget the power of prayer! Asking for understanding and wisdom is key, guiding us through the ups and downs as we grow spiritually. Every day, we should keep our eyes on Jesus, counting on him for strength and comfort, instead of stressing over what the world throws at us. When we start to notice all the blessings in our lives, it’s such a gamechanger, making us feel grateful and fulfilled. At the end of the day, Jesus is our ultimate leader, and through him, we find purpose, guidance, and a special connection to our Lord who loves and cares deeply for us. Relying on ourselves or others can be dangerous, as we are all sinners by nature, prone to error and misjudgment. Our human understanding is limited, and we often make choices that lead us astray. However, as we grow in our relationship with the Lord, embracing His teachings and wisdom, we learn to trust Him over the fleeting and unreliable aspects of the world around us. God is constantly with us through the Holy Spirit, offering protection and guidance amidst life’s challenges. In our journey of faith, it is essential that we take time to pray sincerely, listen to His voice, and take inspired action, nurturing our faith through study and meditation in his word. The Lord watches over us with a loving eye, providing comfort and reassurance. Even in our moments of weakness and doubt, He is there to lift us up, forgive us, and guide us back onto the path of righteousness, reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles. In trusting Him, we find strength and stability that the world simply cannot offer. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

Following Christ can be a constant struggle. We are in spiritual battles that we don’t even understand. We are hard hit by the devil and his army, who is constantly trying to force us to believe all things other than what our God teaches us to believe. There are false teachers who are thrown in our pathways and who are very proficient in making their messages look and feel like they are from God. Many are deceived by these messengers of Satan, even some of those who are solid in their beliefs in Christ Jesus. It is very important that we stay in God’s Holy Word every day and stay in prayer consistently. It is by prayer and God’s Word that we are able to know the truth and are able to fight against the evils that come against us. There is no other way. Our life can either be a constant struggle or one of victory through Jesus. What do you choose? PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

As born-again Christians, we possess the essential tools to confidently navigate this world. Immorality is rampant, with lies, cheating, and sexual misconduct being accepted as the norm today. It’s often said that a lie repeated enough times can be perceived as truth, and we are witnessing this phenomenon unfold before our very eyes. Despite recognizing that much of what we hear is false, the power of suggestion influences minds, allowing many to proceed in sin. However, God has equipped us with everything necessary to combat this wave of immorality, but we must actively utilize these tools. We are called to be doers of His word, not merely hearers. By putting His truths into action and applying them in our lives, we will overcome the power of suggestion. As we know, the truth sets us free. Let us firmly grasp God’s truths and liberate ourselves from the evils of this world. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

“But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.” 1 Corinthians 15:20 —– “Just as everyone dies because we belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.” 1 Corinthians 15:22 ——- “But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.” 1 Corinthians 15:23

When we discuss the term “resurrection,” we confidently affirm the rising of Jesus on the third day, a pivotal event in God’s plan. The term “resurrection” embodies the powerful promise of restoring life. In 1 Corinthians, Paul outlines a clear vision of a resurrection that extends beyond Jesus; he speaks of a harvest of those who have passed, encompassing all who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. While death is an unavoidable aspect of our human journey, we can be assured of God’s plan for the resurrection of the dead, starting with Jesus, the first in this vital harvest. Those who follow Jesus can eagerly anticipate their own resurrection at a time known only to God. Soon, He will gather His church from this world; the dead will rise first, followed by the living, who will be taken in the twinkling of an eye. This message may not resonate with everyone today, but amidst the chaos of our world, we can stand firm in the knowledge that the “rapture” is approaching, and the Bible clearly affirms this truth. In the darkness of night, having a flashlight is a wonderful way to illuminate our path. No matter where we find ourselves, what truly matters is reaching our destination safely and confidently. Life can sometimes feel like darkness, but even in those moments, we have the assurance of discovering the light ahead. God provides that light to guide us. By reading the Bible, we uncover His promises, love, and a sincere desire to support us through every challenge. When we face difficulties while navigating life, we can find hope in knowing that problems are simply opportunities to grow stronger. In those moments, turning on God’s light helps us see the way forward. His compassion and love wrap us in safety. We should embrace His Holy Word daily to remind ourselves of His unwavering protection and love. It’s time to cultivate the faith He offers and pursue the dreams He has placed in our hearts. Fear is a dangerous tool used by the devil to weaken our faith in God, creating barriers that inhibit our spiritual growth. This fear brings doubt and worry, challenging us to question our beliefs. In these moments of uncertainty, we must remember that God is with us, holding our hand during troubles and protecting us from unseen evil. Our strength comes from unwavering faith in God and His promises, which equip us to overcome the evil around us. As we pray and seek His understanding, we build our faith, brick by brick. Fear opposes faith; if we live in fear, we allow doubt to take root. There is no reason for fear if we have a strong relationship with Jesus! His love and grace provide comfort and reassurance. Troubles and worries are everywhere, making it easy to feel trapped in a cycle of anxiety and despair. Yet, the Lord our God assures us that we can always find a way out of even the most difficult circumstances. He is faithful and supports us through every trial, never giving us more than we can bear. In times of struggle, it is important for us to recognize Him in all situations, understanding that He is with us, offering strength and comfort. Connecting with Him through prayer allows us to express our fears and seek guidance, so we can navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Instead of getting lost in the world’s distractions, we should focus on His wisdom and direction, which leads us toward peace and understanding. He is, indeed, our only way out of darkness and confusion. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

“Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping -believing that he would become the father of many nations.” ROMANS 4:18 ——– ” But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith.” ROMANS 4:3

Abraham was promised by God that he would be the father of many nations, requiring hope and faith in his life. Though he did not see this promise fully realized, he began to witness it with the birth of his son Isaac. Like Abraham, we must maintain hope in God’s unseen promises and focus on His plans for us, despite life’s distractions. Our hope and faith give life to God’s promises in our lives, but we must eliminate doubt and fear. Even if we may not see God’s promises fulfilled in our lifetime, our faith assures us that He never fails, and His promises endure through to future generations. Hope is forever! Our goal as Christians is to live our lives on earth and ultimately transition to eternal life in heaven with God. Since we are born as sinners, many of us have faced the challenges of living in this world. However, once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, our mission is to represent Him in our lives. It’s essential to understand God’s promises. He offers us a chance for a better life and assures us that by following His Holy Word, we will find rest and security. In His refuge, we will discover love, patience, strength, and wisdom. Although He doesn’t promise a life without troubles, He guarantees support through our struggles. He loves each of us, and if we concentrate on living for the Lord, nothing is impossible. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

We often forget how much we are loved by God. He protects, heals, forgives, and saves us. God gives us reminders to stay refreshed in His Word. We should study His Word daily, pray for understanding, and meditate on it day and night. We must keep it in our thoughts and actions, living according to His teachings. Only then can we truly succeed and prosper in life. We should be strong and courageous, using the name of Jesus to dispel fear. Words are incredibly powerful; they possess the ability to uplift and inspire or to hurt and damage deeply. Once we utter them, they linger in the minds of others, often creating lasting effects, both positive and negative. It’s crucial to pause and reflect before we speak, as our words can serve as encouragement, pushing someone to achieve their greatest potential, or they can lead others down a path of negativity and despair. Being mindful of the impact of our words is essential, especially in moments of anger, when emotions may cloud our judgment. Instead of reacting impulsively, we should seek the guidance of God and take a breath to ensure our speech aligns with our intentions. Ultimately, our words can either build strength and support within our relationships or lead to unnecessary harm and conflict among those we care about. Therefore, let us choose our words carefully, embracing the responsibility that comes with them, and striving to communicate in a way that fosters understanding and kindness. The Holy Spirit is our guide. Listen to Him and never allow words to just fly from our mouths in idle and dangerous ways. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

It is easy to fall into temptation. When we feel strong in the Lord, we might actually be vulnerable to evil. During these moments, the devil targets us with his strongest efforts. He uses deception and lies to lead us away from God’s holiness. By focusing on God’s Word and walking in the light of His salvation, we can strengthen our resistance to evil. As the scriptures say, everything we do should glorify God in heaven. In our thoughts, words, and actions, we must aim to honor Him and align our thoughts with His teachings in His Holy Word. The top athletes in the world train year around for their events.  They exercise, do weight training, run and do whatever it takes to become the best they can.  As a child of God, we too, are running to win.  We are running toward eternal life, and we must stay in the race by training ourselves to stay strong in the Lord.  We must be consistent in reading his Holy Word.  We must take time to meditate on what we read.  We must pray to Him on a regular basis, always asking for him help us along the way.  We must never let down and train all year around.   As we train and live our lives for God, there will always be eyes on us.  Others will be watching and we will be ministering to them by our actions and speech.  We must not fail in our race.  It is a marathon and not a sprint.  It takes effort, patience and determination. Sometimes we forget simple things like our keys or the time, and we even forget commitments. As members of God’s church, we may also forget who we are. We can lose sight of being humble and loving towards others instead of gossiping. We often forget how to live as children of Christ Jesus; we are called to pray, read His Holy Word, and understand it. Importantly, we must love others, show compassion, and help whenever we can. Loving God means being devoted and surrendering to Him. This love is not just an emotion; it’s an action we should practice daily. When we do this, we will naturally extend love to those around us. Let us immerse ourselves in God’s love and model our lives after Him. Let us never forget just who we are in Christ. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

When Adam and Eve ate the apple in the Garden of Eden, God handed control of the world to Satan. From then on, God has focused on saving humanity from evil by offering a second chance. He sacrificed His only Son for our salvation. The cost of this sacrifice is great, but receiving salvation is straightforward, even though it becomes difficult when the devil fights against us. We must keep our faith and follow the Holy Spirit within us. We need to believe and act on that belief. God has paid a high price for us to move forward in His presence. What is in your heart? What do you believe? Is your God shaped by your work, family, or worldly views? Changing our hearts can be challenging, especially when we have been taught differently for years. However, God reminds us that He should come first in our lives. When we prioritize Him, everything else will align. Our hearts will change, and our love for God will show in our actions, words, and thoughts. Our love for family will grow, and work will become more enjoyable. Problems will always exist, but our response to them will make a difference. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and when He guides us, our hearts will reflect His love and understanding. We will become less anxious and more patient with others, showing the love of Jesus instead of worldly anger. Our lives will mirror Jesus’ love rather than the world’s ways. Our God is truly God. He has set conditions for how we should live on earth. We must keep our focus on His presence and love Him wholeheartedly. We should follow His guidance and respect those around us. Staying connected to His thoughts and instructions from the Holy Word is essential. We need to be strong enough to trust Him during difficult times. It’s easy to trust when things go well, but it becomes challenging in tough moments. In those times, we should trust Him completely. We must rely on Him and let Him work in our lives. Our God is indeed God, and we see His miracles every day, often overlooking them. Our trust in Him allows us to declare that our God is indeed God! A celebration happens when something wonderful occurs in our lives. We express our joy and honor the event. The greatest thing to celebrate is the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We celebrate not just his life on earth, but his sacrifice by God the Father for our sins. We honor his death on the cross and his resurrection three days later. Jesus died for our sins, allowing us to transition to eternal life peacefully. We celebrate our loving God in heaven, who gave his only Son for us. We embrace the new, not the old, and align our lives with God’s plan. Each day offers us reasons to celebrate by living joyfully and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior! Life on earth is challenging. We work hard to survive in a confusing world filled with doubt and worry. We search for what our spirit longs for: the Lord Jesus. When we find Jesus, we might think life will get easier, but that’s not the case. Our struggles remain, and fear and doubt can hit us even harder. Yet our lives change with a righteous Savior by our side. Jesus is always there to guide us and give us strength against evil. Eternal life is the hope we hold onto. Although we may face struggles in our faith, we do so with hope and a wish to follow his ways. Our God is patient and loves each of us, waiting as we find our way to Jesus. Unlike those who follow worldly principles, which often lead to confusion and disappointment, we are called to embrace a path illuminated by His truth, where joy, peace, and fulfillment abound. As we cultivate this relationship through prayer, worship, and scripture, we grow in wisdom and strength, allowing us to face life’s challenges with unwavering faith and compassion for others. Our God never fails! What he says is what he means and what he does. When we are told that he will be by our side in good times and bad, he is beside us in good times and bad. The Holy Word tells us plainly that God never fails on his promises. He never has and he never will. However, it is up to you and me to decide whether we believe and receive or deny him and put our trust in the things of the world. The world provides us with things we can see and touch. It provides all of the things and all of the ways in which we were taught as we were growing up. However, the ways of the Lord require us to trust without seeing or touching. It requires faith that is immovable. It requires us too truly believe in God and what he tells us he will do. It requires us to act upon our faith which is acting on things we do not see. It is listening closely to the Holy Spirit and following His directions. Our Lord has given us a free choice, and it is up to us to make those decisions. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

Jesus did not walk this earth looking for those who thought they were already on the right path. He did not look for those who thought they were better than anyone around them. Instead, he looked for those who understood and were willing to confess that they were sinners in this world. He looked for those who were humble in their actions and wanted to hear the truths about the way to eternal life. He looked for those who wanted to be righteous and follow him, even if it meant scrutiny and persecution. It is the same today. Jesus is still searching for those characteristics today. In order to follow Jesus, we must humble ourselves before him and ask him into our lives. We must not fear those who may taunt us or make fun of our beliefs in Jesus. The time is right for all to seriously look for Jesus. He tells us if we search, we will find. It is time to search. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

The great apostle, Paul, often asked others to pray for him. God loves to answer our faithful prayers for our brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord wants us to regularly lift each other up in prayer so that we can grow as the body of Christ, and so we can experience His powerful presence together. Prayer to God is an extremely powerful tool. In Jesus we are able to reach God with our problems and our praises. Even though there are times we may not feel it, we are powerful with the existence of prayer in our life. We are wise to use it often! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
